She was Sitting at a Diner.
Waiting and Waiting.
30 minutes past 7.
She’s willing to wait.
Time passing, 45 minutes more
Her date not at the door
Stood up, Embarrassed she was.
“act like nothing is wrong”
Looked out the window,
took a few deep breaths.
Inhale, Exhale, Breathe.
She walks out the door
with her face staring at the floor.
disappointed she is.
because she was never really his.
Expectations will fail at times.
Dont expect, just let it happen.
